I got a Z5c on Vodafone UK and the bootloader says I can't unlock it. Does anyone know of a way to unlock the bootloader even if the device says I can't? May be irrelevant, but the phone is locked to Vodafone, so I dunno if that has anything to do with it. I tried asking in the Vodafone store about unlocking the bootloader and the staff just looked very confused and told me I can't unlock to any network. Made me laugh that one.

Thanks in advance UPDATE: so my sim lock is gone, currently I am still unable to unlock the bootloader. I have even tried flashing a non carrier modified tft file, and it didn't help. Looks like if you buy a locked device, then the bootloader will stay locked. Ah well, at least the Sony software isn't too bad.
