I've been experimenting with Madden's rosters, and Im safe to say I understand how to mod the players attributes, faces, etc. Basically, I can insert a legend in the game or past player (Brett Farve, Culpepper, Rice, Smith, maybe you want Osgood, Ashton Yoboty, Hines Ward etc. And their picture is in the game!) What I did was I took Deion Sanders from the Hall of Fame team, changed his team to the Chiefs, edited his name to Leon Sandcastle, and gave him 100 in most attributes (like in MUT 13) He is real fun to use and catches all the picks and outruns everyone. Changed his age to 20 (I wonder if I could make him younger) I can edit any attribute to a max of 100 (I haven't tried anything over 100, but Ive seen guys with 113 hidden overall, and even JJ Watt without any editing had a 101 overall, I think AP had 103) I can make 0 in a stat (the lowest overall I believe is -1.3), I can change as many players as you would like and I could put them all on one team if you would like. I could give them any hometown, Throwing style, Kicking style, name, college, etc. As long as its in a game., if you want your players name to be D.ck brain f.ck face, then by all means go ahead and tell me. Basically anything editable in madden, but with a bit more range.

100 Speed is different then 99, I ran two go routes from the 40 in practice to tell, and the 100 speed guy beat the 99 guy by a decent margin. (maybe 2 yards) This may or may not make a guy unstoppable, 100 catch players will still drop contested passes, 40 speed DL will still hawk 100 speed players (.ing madden) and what not. Other things I can do. I can mass edit a trait/stat/etc. So if you want every DB to have 0 speed except for the ones on your team, I can do that.

If you want all players to be the smallest possible height, I can do that. If you want 400 pound running backs, I can do that. I can put all the 99's on one team, or put all the worst players on the Patriots cause you hate them so much. If you think Joe Flacco is elite, I can make him 100 ovr with 100 speed, if you don't, I can completely remove him from the game (or at elast make him a 0 ovr forced starter) If you have Madden 12, 11, 10, Head coach, whatever, I can put all the latest players on a roster for you.

I also tend to do something helpful, see, DBs do not have the ability to catch interceptions near the sideline due to the trait, sideline catch, not being available to them, I can turn that on, and you will never have these stupid sideline pick drops I always get. I would recommend that if you want to have an enjoyable CCM, you ask me to turn that on, even if you don't want anything else modded) There are many more I can do, I just cant think off it all. What you need to do is tell me what you want me to do in a post, IE put Ladainan Tomlinson in the game with specific stats. Either, A), let me make a Roster file for you if you just want some basic editing, or B), upload a roster file to me so I can download it and edit it (Much easier and reliable) Allow me some time for editing and testing, and I will send back the edited file ASAP. If you start a coach in connected careers it IS franchise mode. You control the whole team, choose the players, progress the players, go through the draft, hire free agents, cut players, etc.

Aside from that you can also start a player and play the mode like superstar mode in the past. The mode is well designed gives a fresh feel to the game. On the gameplay side they have made numerous improvements.

The physics engine is the most obvious one. It isn't perfect by any means and you will occasionally see weird moments but for the most part it works well.

The passing trajectories have also added some good depth to the gameplay giving more control to your passing than in years past. Add to this the usual slider set that you can find in the settings and if there is anything you don't like about gameplay it is easy to adjust to your liking. Overall Madden 13 is a fantastic step in the right direction. After all the years of gimmicks and copy and paste games the madden team under its new management is finally trying and has released a game that not only updates the roster but the formula that makes up football games as well. The new pass catching animations are fantastic. I was excited about 1 diving catch last year; this year, you'll see 2-3 every game. User picks seem to occur as one would anticipate, rather than the random drops on obvious would-be picks from last year. EA made a huge improvement overall.

The integration of FFL into the mix, along with Ultimate Team building (using an eBay style auction with game tokens for currency) is a really addictive feature. If EA reads this, please release a patch that shows a drive summary along with fixing the Player of the Game notification. It doesn't seem to be working. And I read there were supposed to be player stat updates mid game like in the NFL. Wasn't sure I saw that either. And perhaps a halftime recap that is actually relevant instead of the generic scenes at present.

Franchise Mode has been relocated under 'Connected Careers' along with Superstar Mode, hence 'Connected' careers. Create a coach to play Franchise Mode, or create a player to play Superstar Mode. Now in order to play significant games offline you have to play as a player, which i started a season as a QB. Its amazing how TERRIBLE the WR's are when you cannot control them, my running back never cute in the hole, and I counted 24 (yes I tallied). 24 drop passes in the last game without being able to control them!

EA on the other hand decided to ditch that model and abandon any and ALL forms of customization. You can no longer edit equipment or rosters in your franchise.

Are you a person who enjoyed doing a multi-player franchise with your friends or a fantasy draft or controlling all 32 teams to make roster moves and depth charts 100% accurate to the real world? Well all of those options are COMPLETELY GONE!

What you get in Madden 13 is a Connected Careers mode which lacks any kind of depth. This game is not made for real football fans or sim players. It is made for little kids who want an arcade game with no complications but they fail at even that pathetic goal as the menus in the game are horribly designed and take forever to navigate through to find what you are looking for. I have been a huge Madden fan my entire life, now I feel betrayed and ripped off. In the year EA gives us the best gameplay the Madden series has ever had they also remove all the features that make the game enjoyable. Buying Madden 13 is like buying a Ferri with the engine missing.
